Board of Directors Election Process

 

Any member in good standing may request to have their name added to the Suissevale Board of Directors ballot.  To have your name placed on the ballot, you must obtain 10-member signatures supporting your application.  Election Petition forms are available at the Business Office.  To be placed on the 2019-2020 ballot, Petition forms must be returned no later than 10:00 AM, March 13, 2019.

 

Suissevale members are urged to attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings.  Review the Boards needs and compare them with your interest and skills to determine if a good fit exists.  Volunteering for a committee position is a great starting point.

 

Any member running for election to the Board will be asked to introduce themselves and tell a little about themselves to the Board  and members at the April Board meeting.  Each member running for the Board will be asked to submit a photograph and biography.  The biography will be posted on the Suissevale website.

 

The Board of Directors Election Ballot is approved at the April Board meeting.

 

The Board of Directors Election Ballots/packages will be mailed out to Suissevale members on May 7, 2019.

 

All ballots must be returned to the Suissevale Business Office on or before July 3, 2019 in an envelope which is clearly indicates the member’s name, return address and reflects votes for no more that 14 candidates. 

 

The ballots will be counted on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Suissevale Clubhouse.

 

The election results will be announced at the Special/Annual Meeting on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
